Resetting the Table: Can We Have Good Conversations Around Bad Topics

The division in our country is a problem we all are recognizing. So how do we overcome this issue? Can we stop talking over one another, lacking empathy for each other or simply struggle to see and understand one another.

A group called “Resetting the Table” is trying to bring people together for conversations that promote understanding and empathy and Co-Executive Director Melissa Weintraub joins Paul Swearengin on the podcast to discuss ways each of can facilitate difficult discussions.

Resetting the Table has worked to resolve relational issues between Palestinians and Isrealis and now are working to bring understanding in the discussion of politics amongst regular citizens today.
